Creative Deduction believes in the libertarian values of private property, personal freedom and the principle of non-aggression.  We view economics in an Austrian perspective, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard.  We write about economics, financial markets and society in general.  Being based in London, England, our starting point is the United Kingdom, but our universe is bigger than that.  We aim to challenge the mainstream and examine the issues without being constrained by allowable opinion.

To write unconstrained in today’s environment of political correctness is challenging.  The contributors to Creative Deduction combine the blog with professional careers, and to avoid conflict between telling the truth and what is seen as allowable opinion, we have – reluctantly – chosen to remain anonymous.
